Friends,

As a home-improvement company, we are designated as essential and still open for business, in accordance with current government guidelines. (Maryland residents: the rebate programs for PEPCO, Potomac Edison and BGE have been temporarily suspended. We are however still taking appointments for audits beginning mid-May, when we hope the programs will be reinstated.) Following is information regarding our new policies and procedures:

A Statement Regarding the COVID-19/Corona Virus

As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop in our communities, we want you to know that we are taking the situation seriously. The health of our customers and employees is our number one priority. As such, we are taking special precautions to ensure a safe work environment for everyone in your home:

●In addition to the Paid Sick Leave that each installer receives as part
of their employment package the Federal Government’s passage of Emergency Paid
Sick Leave Act (EPSLA) ensures that all of our workers are entitled to 80 hours of paid
time off for illness or for self-quarantine due to concerns related to COVID-19.

●We have made it clear to the crew that if any member of their household is sick, they
need to self-quarantine, and that they are entitled to paid time off.
While most of the work that we do takes place outside the living space of your home
(attic, crawlspaces, garage), we have implemented additional policies.

●We also ask that you let us know, (in advance) if you or a family member are experiencing symptoms that might mean we need to postpone an appointment, so you can self-isolate and heal. We, of course, will do the same.

●All crew members will wear shoe covers, a mask and gloves, any time they are passing through living spaces of the home. A disposable protective safety suit can be worn upon request.

●The crew will not use your restrooms.

●We will practice social distancing at all appointments that require interaction (no hand
shakes.)

●Our standard cleaning procedures have been enhanced and any necessary equipment
is being regularly sanitized.

These are some of the ways we can be safer, as our company continues to serve the community during this challenging time. Every day we strive to help make your home more energy efficient and healthier, and right now that starts with each of us. We are all in this together.
